Polgooth Village Hall, Polgooth, St Austell, PL26 7BT

Contact: Garry Hitchens, polgooth@outlook.com

Held on the first Thursday of every month, excluding August, we are a club that has now been running for three years. We have an active membership of around 60 members, with audiences of around 20-30 people. We tend to show more recent releases, including British comedies, biopics, critically acclaimed award winners and historical dramas. Come along before the film to have a chat with others, or just sit back and listen to the film’s soundtrack that will be playing as you enter. We have an interval halfway through the film to serve hot drinks and homemade cake as well as to draw the raffle, which sometimes includes prizes related to the film being shown. Any money raised from the evening is added to the village hall funds to help carry out further improvements.

  • Refreshments available: tea, coffee, hot chocolate, popcorn, crisps, fizzy drinks and cake
  • Parking: very limited parking outside the village hall, although there are places you can park on the roads close to the hall.
  • Accessibility Disabled toilet, full wheelchair access.
