C Fylm – Our statement on Coronavirus

posted in: C Fylm | 0

In the light of the latest government advice regarding travel and cinema visits, as well as a rising number of concerns raised by our club organisers, we have made the decision to cancel all C Fylm events until further notice. Whilst it wasn’t a decision we took lightly, we feel that the health and well-being of our audiences, volunteers and communities is the most important thing. We hope to reschedule some of the films we had programmed, and will keep our website and newsletter updated with any developments.

Will my ticket be refunded?

All audiences who bought tickets in advance for C Fylm events are in the process of being refunded by Ticketsource, and customers will receive an email about this. Anyone who has paid for tickets locally should contact the local film club organisers for a refund.

How can I help?

We will be continuing to support our film clubs during this time. However, as we are not able to hold film screenings, we will not be generating any income to help us continue our mission to deliver cinema experiences for everyone. To help us, we are asking that if you can, audiences would consider donating the cost of their C Fylm entry during this difficult time. Any amount donated would make a huge difference to our organisation – if you would like to donate, you can do so here.

What next?

The C Fylm team is following government advice on home working and so some members of the team may not be available to answer calls. Please email with any queries and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

We are not taking any equipment or film bookings until August 2020, and we will be monitoring the situation closely – always putting the health and safety of our communities first.

We thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

C Fylm Project Manager
