C Fylm is delighted to have received funding from the BFI Film Audience Network to take part in this season, making it possible for communities across Cornwall to join a national celebration of melodrama.

Audiences across Cornwall can enjoy sweeping romances and heart-wrenching classics. Our season brings Cornwall-linked favourites alongside titles from the UK and across the world.

At the heart of our programme is a special screening of Wong Kar Wai’s romantic masterpiece In the Mood for Love at Townshend Village Hall on 15th November, marking the 25th anniversary of one of cinema’s most influential and achingly beautiful films. This evocative story of love, longing and fleeting connection is a milestone of world cinema.

Screenings kick off from 26th September, and continue through to December 2025. Join us to celebrate cinema at its most powerful. Don’t forget your tissues!
