Kernow Kino 2: Celebrating authentic representations of Cornwall on screen

posted in: Events, Film programming | 0

C Fylm and Screen Cornwall invite film exhibitors and communities across Cornwall to take part in Kernow Kino, a celebration of authentic representation of Cornwall on screen.

We are on a mission to connect audiences to content produced by local filmmakers that reflect the rich diversity of Cornwall’s language, culture, heritage and communities.

Screenings will take place in February and early March 2025 in venues across Cornwall, centring around St Piran’s Day on 5th March.

A screening of Kernow Kino. We see the back of the audience, who are sitting facing a cinema screen. On the screen is the title 'Kernow Kino'. There is a string of Cornish flags underneath the screen.

Get involved as an exhibitor:

Screen Cornwall has curated a brand-new collection of eight short films by local filmmakers, including some award-winning, festival favourites! These are FREE to screen to community exhibitors.

The shorts programme can be shown together as a 100-minute screening, or played individually before a feature film.

Please email imogen@creativekernow.org.uk by Friday 17th January 2025 to book your screenings.
